During the month of November, which begins with the celebration of All Saints and All Souls, the church is called in a special way "to remember our brothers and sisters who have gone to their rest."
During the 4:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday, November 2, Our Lady of Sorrows Parish will have a special remembrance of those whose funerals were celebrated here during the past year. Parishioners are also invited to include names of family members and friends who died during the past year, but whose funerals were celebrated elsewhere. The Mass will include a reading of the names of all those we are remembering. May this be, for those who grieve, an experience of comfort in their sorrow and great hope for the future.
Please contact Chris Muldoon (781-784-2265) if you need additional information, have questions about the November 2 Mass, or would like to include the name of someone who died in the past year, but whose funeral was celebrated other than here at the parish.
During the month of November we will also replace the Parish Prayer Book with the Book of the Names of the Dead. Please feel free to add the names of deceased family members and friends so we can remember them in prayer.
