Increased Offertory Campaign

Strengthening the Parish Offertory

1 Peter 4:10 "As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace."

As you know, Our Lady of Sorrows Parish is now involved with an Increased Offertory Campaign. In recent weeks our parish has been preparing for the campaign by recruting volunteer leadership, updating parish records and producing program materials. Soon all members of the parish will be invited to participate in the Increased Offertory Campaign. We hope you will respond positively and with generosity.

This week you will receive (or may have already received!) a letter from Fr. Scott and Sarah Pasternack, the Chair of our Increased Offertory Campaign, describing the campaign and how our parish will be involved. It is an opportunity for all of us to take an active role in the growth of our parish and for each parishioner to practice the principle of stewardship - giving back a portion of our blessings to God.

On the weekend of October 13/14, each parishioner will be asked to make a commitment to the parish's regular collection. Please pray about your participation in this important effort.
