Sharon Interfaith Action Mission Statement:
Our many faith traditions call us to love our neighbors and to work for justice. Sharon Interfaith Action (SIA) was created in 2017 to reach across economic, racial, and class divides to develop relationships and partner with those people most directly impacted by injustice.
SIA is currently partnering with Brockton Interfaith Community (BIC). BIC, founded in 1990, is a multi-faith, multi-ethnic non-profit organization serving the greater Brockton area. BIC’s mission is to work collaboratively on issues chosen together to promote racial and economic justice through prophetic, faith-rooted community organizing. By building power locally through intentional relationships, we aspire to create systems and structures for the purpose of establishing a more equitable and just world.
